My friend’s shop Focus celebrates its tenth birthday this year. To commemorate this milestone I was commissioned to design a t-shirt. I chose to draw Calton Hill, the view they can see everyday from their shop in the Canongate, Edinburgh. The print run is limited to 50 tees – I’ll post a link soon.

Here’s some new FOUND tote bags that I’ve just had printed. I’m really happy with them. I’m definitely going to keep at least one for my self but I’m having real problems choosing which colour to go for. Which is your favourite? We will be selling these bags along with tees bearing the same design at forthcoming shows. Share on Facebook
Away Game T-shirt Design
I’ve designed some tees for Fence’s inaugural Away Game festival. They feature the Sheerwater, (the lovely wee ferry that takes you to the island) Eigg and it’s beautiful, picturesque hill Sgurr, one of the island’s new windmills, a soaring seagull and a dolphin turning tricks. What’s not to like?
They’re priced at £14.99 and are available in men’s and women’s sizes. Preorder yours now from:

For the next week (until 29 August) I have a new drawing on display in the window of Studio 203 Gallery (on the corner of Pleasance and East Crosscauseway, Edinburgh). I’m showing a picture of Lismore Rugby Club which is directly opposite Studio 203. It’s a building I’ve wanted to draw for years, so when I was asked by the curator, Nicky Brooks, to produce a piece for the window I jumped at the chance. My print is hanging alongside a bold, striking new work by my friend Richard Strachan. Go along and have a look. More info at: www.studio203gallery.blogspot.com

This is just round from my folk’s house where I grew up. It’s safe to say that I’ve walked round this area thousands of times. I’ve often thought about drawing this view . . . and I’ve finally gotten round to it. In particular I like the horizontal white lines in the windows above the street sign and the lime green shutters diagonally below them. I reckon I might get some prints made of this one too – what do you think?
Brunswick Street Tree

The trees on my street are looking very healthy right now. This one’s such an amazing shape. I’m getting some limited edition giclee prints of this drawing done soon and will be selling them in the Red Door Gallery this August.

McDonald Road Fire Station

After a fairly long time off drawing I’ve managed to ‘ease’ myself back in by spending days on this image of McDonald Road Fire Station near where I live in Edinburgh. This is hopefully going to be included in a new publication from the nice folks at Go Reborn. More to follow.

‘Trucks, Seattle’ Drawing Editioned

My felt-tip pen drawing, ‘Trucks, Seattle’ from the America Drawings series has been editioned by NYC-based affordable art club, 20×200. They have produced 200 prints “using archival pigment inks on 100% cotton rag paper with a luster finish” and are selling them for $20 each. A great way for you to get your hands on my work for a very nice price. Go treat yourself!
Postcard Packs

I wanted to make an affordable way for folks to own some of my artwork, so I have produced a limited run of postcard packs featuring 16 different drawings made over the last five years or so. The postcards show a variety of my screenprints, felt-tip pen drawings and digital prints. They’re printed on beautiful, heavy-weight uncoated stock and hand bound with a slip.
